The Role: Site Electrical Supervisor

Vanderlande is seeking a Site Electrical Supervisor to join its Project Execution team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, within the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia, and plays a crucial role in supporting various projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the site manager in all aspects of electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment across diverse projects.
• Provide guidance and education to sub-contractors on best practices for installation.
• Contribute to the proposals department by providing input for upcoming projects and sharing lessons learned from previous experiences.
• Coordinate with the construction and procurement departments to identify necessary tools and consumables for site execution.
• Analyze specifications, design drawings, and other materials required for electrical installations, ensuring adherence to approved material submittals.
• Prepare comprehensive work packages for the site installation teams.
• Monitor and report on site progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the quality team with inspections, the closing out of snag points, and the eventual handover of projects to clients.

Technical Leadership and Design Oversight

• Research, design, develop, and test electrical industrial control systems.
• Create detailed electrical design documents for parts, assemblies, and products.
• Act as a technical project leader, taking full ownership of deliverables.
• Manage and ensure that all project quality procedures applicable to design are followed, aiming to meet design needs and achieve customer satisfaction.
• Develop and apply knowledge of engineering-based CAD software to complete necessary drawings.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical supervision within industrial or logistics project environments. A strong understanding of electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance processes is essential, alongside proven capabilities in technical leadership and project coordination.
