The Role: Sous Chef

Kraiv is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef for a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, within the Makkah region. This position is integral to supporting the Head Chef in all daily kitchen operations, ensuring culinary excellence and operational efficiency. The Sous Chef will play a key role in maintaining Kraiv's standards for quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising line cooks and overseeing their daily tasks.
• Coordinating food preparation and plating to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes.
• Ensuring that all prepared dishes meet established quality, taste, and presentation standards.
• Assisting with inventory management and supporting the ordering of kitchen supplies.
• Contributing to menu development and the creation of daily specials.
• Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene practices throughout the kitchen.
• Monitoring adherence to all relevant health regulations and internal protocols.
• Training team members on proper kitchen procedures and culinary techniques.
• Collaborating with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and a seamless guest experience.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Sous Chef position are required to have between 5 to 10 years of experience in a professional culinary setting. This experience should demonstrate a strong foundation in kitchen operations, team supervision, and maintaining high culinary standards.

Location
