Store Layout Planner

About the Opportunity

Panda Retail Company – Savola Group is seeking a Store Layout Planner to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time role is central to delivering customer-focused store layout solutions and optimizing space utilization to achieve company sales targets. Candidates with 0-1 years of experience are encouraged to apply for this position.

Core Responsibilities

• Create and adapt store space and layout designs based on agreed, generic design principles.
• Select the most appropriate display equipment from a predefined list of available options.
• Maintain an appropriate balance between primary and secondary store space allocation in line with generic design by store types.
• Contribute to the company's space management strategy and reviews.
• Verify the specification of store fixtures and equipment when ordering new equipment for stores.

Collaboration and Project Management

• Follow flows and adjacencies principles across stores in consultation with cross-functional colleagues to deliver an optimal customer shopping experience.
• Follow the space/store approval process and hold regular natural work teams to obtain cross-functional sign-offs efficiently.
• Communicate with different departments involved in the process to ensure alignment and project completion within timelines.
• Ensure all stakeholders in the merchandising process are kept updated on processes and any changes.
• Ensure stakeholder feedback is sought, reviewed, and used where applicable.
• Conduct regular site visits to check on progress and capture structural elements for existing stores.
• Carry out regular store visits across all formats to review implementations.

Design Standards and Continuous Improvement

• Conduct periodic reviews of proposed store layouts to ensure compliance with generic layouts across all market and store types.
• Keep abreast of evolving shopper needs and constantly improve layouts to meet changing requirements.
• Create final design intent drawings (AutoCAD / Revit) for submission to vendors for cost estimating, elevations, and renderings as required for review and approvals.
• Adhere to legal and industry standards in design and building codes, following and setting industry trends and architectural advancements.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of relevant experience in store layout planning or a related field.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
