About the Role

Fireman Contracting is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join its team. This full-time position, based primarily in Jeddah with projects extending to Makkah, involves critical responsibilities in the design, supervision, and implementation of fire alarm and extinguishing systems. The successful candidate will ensure all projects adhere to approved codes and safety standards, contributing to the company's commitment to excellence in contracting and safety solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review plans for fire alarm and extinguishing systems, ensuring compliance with approved codes and standards.
• Supervise the implementation of fire extinguishing and alarm system projects, monitoring the quality of work throughout.
• Prepare executive and final drawings for various projects.
• Coordinate effectively with consulting entities, owners, and contractors.
• Oversee the supply and approval of materials, verifying adherence to technical specifications.
• Attend technical meetings and generate periodic reports on project progress.
• Supervise testing and commissioning procedures for installed systems.
• Ensure strict compliance with Saudi Building Code requirements and all relevant safety standards.
• Prepare quantity surveying and pricing as required.
• Provide technical support and resolve issues that arise during project execution.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a Saudi national.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a related field.
• Preferably, experience gained within contracting, safety, and security companies.
• Possession of a Saudi Council of Engineers certificate.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position primarily based in Jeddah, with project responsibilities that may extend to Makkah. The role requires active participation in project sites and coordination with various stakeholders, operating within the dynamic environment of a contracting firm specializing in fire safety.
