The Role of Civil Inspector

SGS is seeking Saudi nationals for the position of Civil Inspector within its IDI team. This full-time role is based in Saudi Arabia, with multiple requirements across Riyadh, Jazan, and Khamis Mushayt. The Civil Inspector will be responsible for conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with building codes and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and perform inspections of buildings in accordance with Saudi building codes and international standards.
• Issue detailed reports and document all findings and comments, ensuring adherence to Saudi building codes and international standards.
• Assume responsibilities for non-assigned projects from other Inspectors during emergency leaves.
• Describe and assess technical problems, subsequently developing and proposing effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements by delivering necessary reports within predefined timelines.
• Manage all assigned projects professionally and effectively.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Civil Inspector position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in civil inspection or a related field. This experience should include a strong understanding of building codes and international standards.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position within the IDI team, with opportunities available in Riyadh, Jazan, and Khamis Mushayt. The role involves regular site visits and collaboration within a professional inspection and certification environment.
