Role Overview

The Tinting Technician is responsible for the accurate preparation and matching of paint colors according to specific production requirements. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to established tinting procedures to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify that received tinting colorants and quantities align with the batch ticket specifications.
• Ensure all necessary tinting colorants are readily available near the machine before initiating the tinting process.
• Execute the tinting process accurately as per operational guidelines.
• Perform precise shade matching based on standard (STD) requirements and batch approval criteria.
• Adhere strictly to work instructions and the tinting procedure detailed in the batch ticket.

Operational Duties and Reporting

• Maintain and update reports as required by sectional operational standards.
• Immediately inform the supervisor of any observed deviations or discrepancies during the tinting process.
• Provide on-job training to new staff members when necessary, ensuring proper skill transfer.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.

Safety and Environmental Compliance

The Tinting Technician is expected to execute all assigned activities using safe and environmentally responsible methods. Adherence to company safety protocols and environmental guidelines is mandatory to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
