About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Manager for Loss Prevention to oversee operations in Medina, Eastern Province. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field. The role focuses on protecting property assets, employees, and guests while ensuring guest and employee satisfaction and achieving operational budgets.

Core Responsibilities

The Manager-Loss Prevention is responsible for managing the daily functions of the department to ensure the safety and security of the property and its occupants. This includes maintaining necessary logs, certifications, and documents as required by law and Standard Operating Procedures. The role involves training staff on emergency procedures and implementing accident and fire prevention measures.

Security and Loss Prevention Operations Management

• Assisting in fire prevention programs and emergency preparedness.
• Conducting hazard and risk assessments, including safety audits and incident tracking.
• Developing property shutdown procedures to ensure all areas are secured.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and safety regulations.
• Following proper key control guidelines.
• Developing and executing checklists for security equipment functionality.
• Conducting patrols encompassing all property areas and inspecting recording systems.
• Following the Duty of Care process for guests and employees.
• Investigating and addressing unusual activities that could impact guest or employee well-being.
• Handling complaints, disputes, and negotiating resolutions.
• Implementing action plans to monitor and control risks.
• Overseeing loss prevention operations, including patrols, emergency response, investigations, shipping and receiving processes, electronic key systems, and manager on duty responsibilities.
• Guiding the Accident Prevention Committee and overseeing the first aid program.
• Managing the claims process and protecting company assets by monitoring General Liability and Worker's Compensation cases.
• Communicating safety procedures and ensuring employee understanding.
• Emphasizing teamwork and collaboration with other departments.
• Providing support and assistance to colleagues and guests.
• Serving as a role model for appropriate behaviors and demonstrating leadership through integrity and sound decision-making.

Ensuring Service Excellence

• Meeting daily quality standards and customer expectations.
• Identifying and addressing the educational needs of others through training programs.
• Inspecting and critiquing the performance of the loss prevention department to maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Providing services that exceed customer expectations to foster satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of loss prevention principles, emergency procedures, and safety regulations is essential. The ability to analyze situations, make sound decisions, and lead a team is also required.
