About the Government Relations Specialist Role

KMAS-SA is seeking a Government Relations Specialist to join its team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in managing governmental affairs and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the company effectively before various government entities and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee and manage government employee affairs, including processing appointments, contract renewals, departures, returns, and cancellations.
  • Manage and monitor company accounts on government portals, ensuring timely completion of transactions related to loyalty programs, social insurance, employment, and memberships.
  • Monitor the issuance and updating of valid health insurance for employees, ensuring all related regulatory requirements are met.
  • Track and update government and contractual procedures for the sector, ensuring adherence to all regulations and proper documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in government relations.
  • Previous experience within the food sector or hospitality industry is preferred.

Required Knowledge

Candidates must possess a strong understanding of government and governmental relations systems. This includes familiarity with the processes and requirements for interacting with official bodies and managing compliance.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position with work locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires consistent engagement with government entities in these regions.
