About the Accountant Role

Role Overview and Contributions

The Accountant will be responsible for a range of financial activities, contributing to the preparation of essential financial documents and supporting strategic financial planning. This position requires a professional who can manage accounting processes with precision and ensure compliance with established standards and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports.
• Support budgeting activities and contribute to the annual budget cycle.
• Assist with financial analysis to provide insights for management decisions.
• Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and principles.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
• Perform basic audit procedures as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of accounting.
• Professional certification (*, SOCPA, CPA, or CMA) is preferred.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with various accounting systems; experience with Oracle ERP is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of relevant accounting standards and principles.
• Understanding of internal controls and basic audit procedures.
