Architect

About the Role

Alfalak Electronic Equipment & Supplies Co. is seeking an experienced Architect to join their team in Makkah, with work locations including Thuwal and Makkah. This full-time position involves developing architectural designs and detailed drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements, building codes, and international standards. The Architect will play a key role in delivering functional, safe, and high-quality buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and detailed drawings in accordance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Review contractor submissions, including shop drawings and material submittals, for compliance with design.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve architectural issues that arise during project execution.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, design proposals, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Issue snag lists and follow up on corrective actions to ensure project completion to required standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in architectural design and project execution.
• Proven experience in site inspections, reviewing technical submissions, and managing snag lists.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, finishes, and architectural specifications.
• Familiarity with local construction market dynamics, suppliers, and material supply chains.
