Architect

About the Role

Buruoj Engineering Consultant is seeking a qualified Architect to join their team in Makkah, with work locations including Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position focuses on architectural design and development, requiring strong experience in the field. The role involves working in an office-based environment, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs through all project stages, from concept to detailed design.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings and documentation using Revit within a BIM environment.
• Coordinate with municipalities, local authorities, and other governmental entities to obtain design approvals, address review comments, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and permitting requirements.
• Create high-quality 3D models and visual presentations using 3ds Max and SketchUp.
• Ensure all designs comply with the Saudi Building Code and relevant municipal regulations.
• Coordinate architectural work with other disciplines, including structural, MEP, and planning teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide architectural input to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor design progress and ensure timely delivery in alignment with project schedules.
• Assist in reviewing material submittals, mockups, and architectural detailing.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in architectural design and design development.
• Overall experience required is between 5 to 10 years.
• Demonstrated experience in developing architectural designs from concept to detailed stages.
• Proficiency in using Revit within a BIM environment for architectural documentation.
• Experience with 3ds Max and SketchUp for 3D modeling and visual presentations.
• Knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and relevant municipal regulations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, office-based position. The Architect will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with structural, MEP, and planning teams to ensure integrated project delivery. The role requires active coordination with external governmental entities for design approvals and compliance.
