About the Brake Electric Foreman Role

Arabian Metal Industries is seeking a Brake Electric Foreman to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing the production activities related to trailer brake and electrical systems, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Brake Electric Foreman is responsible for supervising and controlling all production activities related to brake and electrical systems for trailers. This includes ensuring proper installation, thorough testing, adherence to quality standards, and timely completion of systems according to customer specifications and company standards. The Foreman will lead a team of technicians, resolve technical challenges, and ensure that production targets are consistently met without rework.

Core Production Supervision

• Supervise the daily activities of brake and electrical technicians on the production line.
• Allocate manpower and assign tasks in alignment with the production plan and priorities.
• Monitor the progress of brake and electrical installation activities to ensure delivery targets are met.
• Ensure all units are completed within the planned hours.
• Coordinate effectively with Production Engineers, QC, PDI, and other departments to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Identify, report, and document any material shortages or defective parts, maintaining accurate records for follow-up.

Brake System Management

• Supervise the installation and testing of various trailer braking systems, including air brake systems, brake chambers, air valves and piping, and ABS/EBS systems.
• Oversee brake adjustments and comprehensive testing procedures.
• Verify the correct installation, routing, and functionality of all brake components.
• Provide support to technicians in troubleshooting brake-related issues.
• Ensure that all brake testing and inspections are completed thoroughly before Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI).

Electrical System Management

• Supervise the installation of trailer electrical systems, encompassing wiring harnesses, lighting systems, connectors, junction boxes, ABS/EBS electrical connections, sensors, and other electrical accessories.
• Ensure all wiring is installed precisely according to technical drawings and established quality standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and provide expert guidance to technicians for effective corrective actions.
• Ensure proper cable routing, protection, and finishing across all electrical installations.

Experience and Location

Candidates for this full-time position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in supervising brake and electrical production activities, ideally within the metal industries or a related manufacturing environment. The role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
