Role Overview

My Clinic KSA is seeking a Business Analyst to join its team in Makkah, covering both Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and involves providing accurate, timely, and insightful financial and operational analysis to support decision-making across My Clinic's multi-site outpatient healthcare network. The Business Analyst will translate clinical, operational, and financial data into clear management information to drive revenue growth, clinical capacity utilization, cost efficiency, and profitability. This position is a key contributor to the FP&A team through monthly reporting, annual budgeting, Integrated Business Plan (IBP), rolling forecasts, and the evaluation of new services and capital investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, cleanse, validate, and reconcile base data from various systems including HIS/EMR, billing, revenue cycle, ERP/general ledger, HR/payroll, and scheduling.
  • Organize and cross-reference clinical activity, financial, and operational data to establish a reliable source of management information.
  • Reconcile activity-based revenue to billed and posted revenue in the general ledger, investigating and resolving variances.
  • Produce flash reports on patient volumes, revenue, new vs. follow-up visits, and channel performance by site, specialty, and clinician.
  • Generate weekly performance packs tracking actuals against budget, forecast, and prior year, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly revenue reports analyzed by payer, service line, specialty, and site.
  • Monitor payer mix, average revenue per visit, price realization, and discount/package utilization, flagging adverse movements.
  • Analyze clinician profitability, including revenue, direct costs, compensation, contribution, and productivity measures.
  • Report contribution and gross margin by specialty and service line.
  • Support the preparation of site-level profit and loss statements and contribution analysis.
  • Contribute to monthly executive and board packs with concise, insight-led commentary.
  • Analyze insurance claims performance, including submission timeliness, rejection and denial rates, resubmission success, and write-offs.
  • Track debtor days, aging, and cash collection by payer; support the RCM team in prioritizing recovery actions.
  • Support analysis of payer contracts and tariffs, including price-volume impacts of contract renewals and NPHIES/CCHI requirements.
  • Input and update actuals into planning models to support the FP&A Manager through annual budget, IBP, and rolling forecast cycles.
  • Produce data, assumptions, and financial analysis for business cases related to capital expenditure, new clinics, site expansions, medical equipment, and new service lines.
  • Support post-investment reviews comparing actual performance to approved business cases.
  • Support commercial modeling for corporate, insurer, and partnership arrangements.
  • Conduct value-for-money analysis of marketing campaigns, including cost per lead, cost per acquired patient, conversion, and return on marketing spend.
  • Perform deep dives into specialty performance, pricing, referral patterns, patient retention, and leakage.
  • Analyze consumables, medical supplies, staffing, and third-party costs to identify savings opportunities.
  • Ensure all reports are accurate, reconciled, and supported by documented working papers and version control.
  • Handle patient and employee data in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), My Clinic policies, and confidentiality requirements, using de-identified data where possible.
  • Propose improvements for reporting, automating manual processes, and developing self-service dashboards (*, Power BI).
  • Support colleagues within the wider Finance team during month-end, audit, and peak periods.
