Civil Site Supervisor

About the Role

Orient Castle Contracting Company is seeking a Civil Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities in Makkah and Jeddah. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in strict compliance with approved plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate work schedules and assignments for construction workers on site.
• Enforce safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular inspections and reporting hazards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor work quality, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards, and promptly addressing any quality issues.
• Oversee the procurement, management, and efficient use of materials and equipment on-site, ensuring proper storage.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the project manager and subcontractors, providing regular updates on progress, issues, and resource needs.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction operations, collaborating with project managers and team members to find effective solutions.

Working Relationships

The Civil Site Supervisor will maintain key working relationships with various stakeholders to ensure project success:

• Project Manager: Reporting on daily operations and overall project progress.
• Construction Workers: Providing direct supervision and support to the team.
• Foremen: Collaborating on work assignments and site management.
• Subcontractors: Coordinating work to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Suppliers: Managing material deliveries and on-site inventory.
• Inspectors: Liaising with regulatory inspectors during site visits.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in civil site supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise daily construction activities effectively.
• Strong understanding of project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.

Work Location

This position is based in the Makkah region, with work primarily conducted in Jeddah and Makkah.
