Engineering Coordinator

About the Role

Rotana Jabal Omar Makkah is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to join our team in Makkah. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are dedicated to maintaining high operational standards and delivering exceptional service within a dynamic environment.

Role Purpose

The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all engineering procedures, identifying efficient and cost-effective measures for continuous improvement, and supporting the overall advancement of the quality system. This role contributes to providing creative solutions and ensuring high levels of customer service for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain all electrical equipment and electrical control panels to ensure accurate function.
• Prepare and strictly follow preventive maintenance schedules, maintaining records for future reference.
• Ensure the cleanliness of all electrical panels, motors, electrical appliances, kitchen equipment, and laundry equipment.
• Distribute work assignments to subordinates according to their capabilities to achieve optimal results.
• Verify that work performed by subordinates meets specified standards.
• Ensure all related tools are securely stored and maintained in good working condition.
• Coordinate with counterparts in other departments to ensure satisfaction with quality and progress, fostering healthy inter-departmental relationships.
• Create opportunities for engineering employees to multitask and increase their skills and knowledge.
• Maintain all kitchen and laundry equipment in good working order.
• Maintain the performance of pumps and motors.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in an engineering professional role.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
• A proactive approach to identifying and implementing creative solutions.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within the Rotana Jabal Omar Makkah team. The role requires a commitment to maintaining operational excellence in a dynamic hospitality environment.
