Job Description

About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking an ER Nurse to join their team in Makkah, Makkah Region. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves providing comprehensive nursing care within clinics or the emergency department, ensuring alignment with established policies and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document all relevant information correctly, appropriately, and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the clinic is ready for effective use by the physician, including consumable material stock levels and medical equipment.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures, clinical protocols, standards, and guidelines based on legislation and evidence-based nursing practice.
  • Report equipment failures, safety and security issues, and/or reduction of supply inventory to the nurse supervisor.
  • Act as an advocate for patients and families.
  • Cooperate and work effectively with other professionals in the multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Comply with policies for personal and patient safety and for the prevention of healthcare-associated infections.
  • Promote a safe environment and safe patient care by embracing a safety culture.
  • Contribute to the achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in self-education, training, and development, as applicable.
  • Contribute to the achievement of cost efficiency savings on the unit.
  • Maintain an awareness of resource utilization, exercising care in the ordering and use of staff, equipment, and materials.
  • Complete the nursing assessment and document medical history from the patient.
  • Adhere to the Medicines Management for the safe keeping and administration of medication.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Proficiency in meeting established standards of nursing practice and performance.

Work Environment and Conditions

This role is based 100% indoors. The working schedule involves 6 working days per week with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, structured according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
