EMERGENCY NURSE

About the Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking an Emergency Nurse 3 to provide advanced-level nursing care within the assigned nursing unit in Dhahran. This full-time role focuses on supporting operational processes, maintaining high standards of patient care, and resolving complex clinical issues. The Emergency Nurse 3 will also mentor intermediate-level nurses and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient care delivery.

Strategic Contributions

This position contributes to strategic initiatives aimed at improving nursing practices within the assigned unit. Key responsibilities include participating in the development of protocols to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency, while also supporting high staff engagement and patient experience. The role is integral to achieving and sustaining a high quality of care and patient safety, and empowering nurses through the JHAH nursing Professional Practice Model.

Operational Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care services, with a focus on complex cases.
• Assist in managing workflow, ensuring proper resource utilization, and providing mentorship to junior nurses.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participate in the evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Achieve and/or maintain the mandated set of activities for level 3, which requires a minimum total of 20 points in at least four categories within each 12-month cycle, as outlined in the Clinical Advancement Program.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care from admission through discharge, specific to the patient's age.
• Provide nursing care and patient/family education consistent with the plan of care and needs of the patients, respecting privacy, dignity, personal preference, and culture, while demonstrating acceptance, caring, and empathy.
• Precept new hires and trainees during the probation training period and participate in making recommendations regarding progress and training needs.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and life-saving situations by utilizing clinical skills, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform a wide range of nursing procedures in the assigned Emergency facilities with attention to accuracy, patient safety, and comfort, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 4 years of relevant experience in emergency nursing. Specific educational requirements are not disclosed but are expected to align with advanced-level nursing practice.
