ER Nurse

About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking an ER Nurse to join their team in Makkah. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive nursing care within clinics or the emergency department, adhering to established standards of nursing practice and performance. The nurse will ensure patient care is delivered according to established policies and evidence-based practices, with all relevant information documented accurately and timely.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and meeting established standards.
• Ensure the clinic is prepared for effective use by physicians, including consumable material stock levels and medical equipment readiness.
• Comply with all policies, procedures, clinical protocols, standards, and guidelines based on legislation and evidence-based nursing practice.
• Report equipment failures, safety and security issues, and/or reductions in supply inventory to the nurse supervisor.
• Act as an advocate for patients and their families.
• Cooperate and work effectively with other professionals in the multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Comply with policies for personal and patient safety and for the prevention of healthcare-associated infections.
• Promote a safe environment and safe patient care by embracing a safety culture.
• Contribute to the achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in self-education, training, and development as applicable.
• Contribute to the achievement of cost efficiency savings on the unit.
• Maintain awareness of resource utilization, exercising care in the ordering and use of staff, equipment, and materials.
• Complete nursing assessments and document medical history from patients.
• Adhere to Medicines Management for the safe keeping and administration of medication.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should have 0-1 years of experience in a relevant nursing role.

Work Environment

This role operates entirely indoors (100%). The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week with 1 day off. Working hours are 8 net working hours per day, based on a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
