About the Executive Chef Role

Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join the Hotels team at DoubleTree by Hilton Jabal Omar Makkah. This full-time role is integral to the overall vision, strategy, and success of all culinary operations within the hotel, with a focus on delivering memorable dining experiences for every guest.

Role Overview

The Executive Chef is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the hotel's culinary functions. This involves ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving financial performance while consistently enhancing the guest dining experience. The role requires a leader who can engage with guests, manage budgets, and cultivate a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directing culinary operations, including the preparation and production of hotel meals, to ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, cost controls, and overall profitability.
  • Partnering with the Food and Beverage Director to develop new menus and individual menu items based on current food trends and regional tastes.
  • Engaging with guests and clients to assess satisfaction, address concerns, and implement improvements to elevate the dining experience.
  • Monitoring financial performance, overseeing budget management, forecasting, and reporting to ensure financial targets are met and culinary operations align with hotel goals.
  • Optimizing kitchen operations by overseeing and streamlining kitchen systems, processes, and workflows for smooth and efficient service.
  • Cultivating a high-performing team through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs to drive engagement and retention.
  • Ensuring regulatory excellence by upholding compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, fostering a culture committed to guest and team member wellbeing.
