General Manager Operations

About the Role

Ritegroup is seeking an experienced General Manager Operations to lead a multi-site, multi-country Integrated Facility Management contract. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires regular travel. The role involves overseeing operations for an SLA-based contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planned and corrective maintenance for MEP systems, including HVAC, power and ELV, standby generators, pumps and plumbing, and fire alarm and suppression systems.
• Develop and approve PPM schedules and ensure high compliance rates are sustained.
• Manage the helpdesk and 24/7 emergency response, including conducting root cause analysis.
• Oversee soft services such as cleaning and sanitisation, security, pest control, landscaping, and event support.
• Manage local vendors and subcontractors through prequalification processes, performance scorecards, escalation procedures, and replacement as needed.
• Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliver periodic reports in both Arabic and English.
• Mobilise new sites, which includes conducting asset condition surveys, maintaining defect logs, and developing emergency plans.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in operations management. The following qualifications are preferred:

• CFM, FMP, or PMP certification.
• NEBOSH or IOSH safety certification.
• Experience with ISO 41001, 9001, and 45001 standards.
• Operating budget and cost control experience.
• Proficiency in a third language in addition to English and Arabic.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires regular travel to various sites as part of managing multi-site and multi-country operations.
