About the Role

Al-Enjaz Company is seeking a Health Safety Environment Engineer to join their team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on implementing and overseeing health, safety, and environmental protocols on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting operations, minimizing workplace hazards, and ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations.

Role Overview

The Health Safety Environment Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. This involves actively monitoring site activities, identifying potential risks, and implementing immediate corrective actions to uphold safety standards and adherence to Saudi labor laws and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily audits and inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, or unsafe conditions, enforcing corrective actions immediately.
Participate in developing Job Safety Analyses (JSA) / Risk Assessments and manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system for high-risk activities.
Deliver daily Toolbox Talks (TBT) and conduct safety orientations/inductions for new workers and subcontractors.
Report and investigate workplace incidents or near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
Ensure all site personnel strictly comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards and local health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Health Safety Environment role.
Active registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is required.
NEBOSH IGC or OSHA certifications are considered a plus.
