About the Role

Astek Middle East is seeking an experienced PMO Manager to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time role involves supporting the Senior Director, Commercial Finance & Actuarial, in managing and driving strategic initiatives across Commercial Finance, Actuarial, and Data Analytics functions. The PMO Manager will serve as a central coordination point, ensuring project progress, managing risks, and providing clear visibility to senior leadership. This is a strategic PMO position focused on portfolio management, executive support, stakeholder coordination, and special projects.

Candidates should have relevant experience working with senior leadership and managing strategic business portfolios. This role is specifically focused on PMO, Strategy, Portfolio Management, Chief of Staff, Business Transformation, and cross-functional corporate initiatives. Experience primarily in Technical/IT Project Management, Software Development Projects, Construction Project Management, Engineering Projects, or Infrastructure Project Management may not be suitable for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track strategic initiatives across Finance, Actuarial, Data Analytics, and related functions.
• Maintain project dashboards, trackers, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action plans.
• Conduct regular project and portfolio reviews and follow up with stakeholders on deliverables.
• Identify delays, risks, and blockers, escalating them proactively.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, briefing materials, and updates for senior leadership.
• Support the Senior Director with strategic analysis, recommendations, and decision-making materials.
• Coordinate with Finance, Actuarial, Financial Control, Strategy, Planning, Investor Relations, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory and reporting requirements are tracked and completed within agreed timelines.
• Identify process gaps and support standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead high-priority and ad hoc strategic projects, including M&A support and operating model initiatives.
• Represent the Senior Director in selected meetings and ensure effective follow-up on agreed actions.

Qualifications and Experience

• 8–12 years of experience in PMO, Strategy, Chief of Staff, Management Consulting, Program Management, or a similar role.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects or portfolios.
• Strong experience working with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
• MBA, PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is an advantage.
• Experience in Insurance, Financial Services, Technology, Consulting, or other regulated industries is preferred.

Required Skills

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong ability to influence and drive accountability without direct reporting authority.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI and project tracking tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, requiring collaboration across various functions within Astek Middle East.
