About ALPLA Group and the Manufacturing Manager Role

ALPLA Group is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join its team in the Makkah region, specifically covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position is central to overseeing manufacturing operations and ensuring production excellence within our facilities.

Role Purpose

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of manufacturing operations, focusing on production efficiency, asset maintenance, and adherence to HSE and quality standards. This role involves performance tracking, team leadership, and providing essential strategic and financial support to the Head of Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production plans, including personnel scheduling, to ensure target output is met while optimizing cycle times, material usage, and waste reduction.
• Implement preventive maintenance procedures, track equipment downtimes and spare parts inventory, safeguard tools, and ensure operations align with global standards.
• Conduct 5S assessments, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits, risk evaluations, and Gemba walks to enforce safety standards and company policies.
• Define department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), manage energy and consumption tracking, analyze operational issues, and submit comprehensive monthly reports to management.
• Identify staff training needs, facilitate effective cross-departmental communication, and lead regular operational synchronization meetings.
• Assist the Head of Operations in budget preparation and contribute to overall plant efficiency and profitability initiatives.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing management or a similar leadership position within a production environment. A strong understanding of operational efficiency, quality control, and safety protocols is essential.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with responsibilities spanning facilities in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires active presence and oversight across manufacturing sites.
