About the Metrology Manager Role
National Initiative Human Resource Company is seeking an experienced Metrology Manager to lead its Testing Department. This full-time position, based in Makkah, including King Abdullah Economic City, requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role focuses on establishing and maintaining world-class calibration, testing, and measurement systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on precision, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
The Metrology Manager will be responsible for leading all metrology operations, ensuring calibration compliance, and driving operational excellence. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing the Metrology function within the Testing Department.
- Developing and executing factory-wide calibration plans for instruments, testing equipment, and machinery.
- Ensuring compliance with calibration standards, manufacturer requirements, and local regulations.
- Managing testing procedures, documentation, and continuous process improvements.
- Leading, coaching, and developing the metrology team through structured training programs.
- Planning and controlling departmental budgets, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory.
- Monitoring testing KPIs, turnaround time, quality performance, and operational efficiency.
- Driving preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with HSE, quality standards, and 5S workplace practices.
- Collaborating with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and R&D teams to achieve business objectives.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience managing metrology, calibration, or testing laboratories within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of calibration systems, measurement equipment, and preventive maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, KPI management, and operational excellence.

- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent planning and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Fluent English (written & spoken).
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position located in Makkah, including King Abdullah Economic City. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process as it is not disclosed at this time.
