National Key Account Manager, L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty

L'Oréal is seeking a National Key Account Manager for its Dermatological Beauty division. Based in Jeddah, this full-time role reports directly to the Commercial Director. The primary responsibility involves managing the omnichannel (O+O) P&L for Nahdi, L'Oréal's largest strategic partner, with a focus on expanding market share and mentoring a Key Account Executive.

Strategic Account Management

This role requires a strategic approach to managing key accounts, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and fostering strong retailer relationships. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute joint business plans with assigned accounts, contributing to the commercial vision with account-specific insights into risks and opportunities.
  • Forecast and achieve account results, including turnover, market share, and profit, by planning growth drivers effectively.
  • Lead account negotiations, implement division and channel strategies, and ensure execution and tracking down to store level and sell-out.
  • Act as the account expert to inform a retailer-centric planning process and build retailer-specific development plans with compelling proposals.
  • Cultivate deep customer intelligence and a strong network with key stakeholders at the retailer's organization.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments such as supply, category, finance, and marketing to ensure consistent communication with retailers.

Omnichannel and Digital Acceleration

A significant aspect of this role involves driving digital growth and integrating omnichannel strategies across the business. Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the omnichannel strategy for L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty.
  • Co-lead digital relationships with e-retailers and pure players, negotiating specific trade agreements for digital acceleration.
  • Participate in the negotiation of annual commercial agreements.
  • Manage the P&L to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Define and develop e-joint business plans per client, specifying goals for business and digital development, with regular reviews of achievements and KPIs.
  • Implement digital Go-To-Market strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams (trade marketing, supply chain, customer facing, finance) and in agreement with brands.
  • Identify new e-commerce trends and opportunities for business growth, developing and implementing corresponding action plans.
  • Analyze sales reports to identify strengths, weaknesses, and business opportunities for pure players.
  • Plan, forecast, and monitor business performance in conjunction with the Commercial Transformation team.
  • Educate and upskill commercial teams on omnichannel strategies and best practices.
