About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking an Optician to join their team in Makkah, with operations also extending to Jeddah. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality optical services and contributing to sales performance through excellent customer experience and accurate product delivery. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to provide exceptional optical services, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales. This involves accurate prescription interpretation, proper insurance handling, and delivering products with zero errors to maintain high standards of service and customer trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate optical products, including frames, lenses, contact lenses, and sunglasses.
• Drive sales conversion, execute upselling and cross-selling strategies, and manage promotions.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
• Deliver a professional and comprehensive customer journey from inquiry to post-sale support.
• Effectively handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Build and maintain customer loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Accurately read and interpret optical prescriptions.
• Perform contact lens fittings in accordance with established standards.
• Ensure correct dispensing and product selection for customers.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Manage insurance approvals and invoicing processes (Wassel / NPHIES).
• Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures, minimizing manual errors.
• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure product safety.
• Report any stock shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain strong product knowledge across all optical categories.
• Verify prescriptions, lens specifications, and frame alignment.
• Ensure products are free of defects and match customer orders precisely.
• Deliver zero-error orders and resolve any issues prior to customer handover.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store targets.
• Support colleagues and share product knowledge to foster a positive team environment.
• Adhere to ethical practices in customer interactions and insurance handling.
• Maintain professional behavior consistent with brand standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as an Optician.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret prescriptions accurately.
• Experience with contact lens fitting.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing.
• Familiarity with insurance approval and invoicing procedures (Wassel / NPHIES).

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within the Fakeeh Care Group. The role requires collaboration with a team to achieve shared objectives and maintain high standards of customer service.
