Quality Compliance Civil Engineer

About the Role

Nesma Infrastructure & Technology is seeking a Quality Compliance Civil Engineer to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role focuses on ensuring civil installations and construction activities adhere to approved engineering drawings, project specifications, quality requirements, and industry standards. The successful candidate will perform independent compliance verification throughout project execution and prior to client acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance inspections of civil works related to substations, transmission systems, and associated infrastructure.
• Verify completed installations following Quality Control (QC) inspections and before client inspections.
• Confirm compliance with approved drawings, specifications, procedures, and relevant standards.
• Identify discrepancies in design, specifications, and field implementation.
• Validate installation quality and adherence to project technical standards.
• Report technical deviations, incomplete scope, and material shortages.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare comprehensive compliance reports, observations, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections and verification activities.
• Monitor the closure of identified compliance findings to ensure resolution.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Coordinate effectively with project engineering, construction, quality, and client teams.
• Participate in audits, reviews, and handover readiness assessments as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field. The role requires a strong understanding of civil installations, construction activities, engineering drawings, project specifications, and industry quality standards.
