The Role of a Recreation Attendant

As a Recreation Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all duties within the health club area are executed efficiently and punctually. This role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and operational standards of recreation facilities while providing support to guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of both the main and children’s swimming pools, as well as the entire health club area, reporting any maintenance issues as they arise.
• Maintain the cleanliness of sun lounges, ensuring they are free of debris during operational hours.
• Sweep and water down the pool deck, and correctly position all furniture during morning setup.
• Provide assistance to guests upon their arrival at Bodylines.
• Assist with the general cleaning of all operational areas within the facility.
• Support potential new members by conducting facility tours and being fully conversant with all club prices and details.
• Constantly check changing rooms to ensure they are clear of litter and used towels.
• Report any guest complaints to superiors immediately.
• Observe high standards of personal hygiene at all times.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience. A diploma or vocational training in the sports or leisure field is preferred, with previous work experience within a hotel being an advantage. The ability to swim is a mandatory requirement for this role.
