Room Care Technician

About the Role

Jumeirah is seeking a Room Care Technician to join the Engineering team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar in Makkah. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience. The role focuses on maintaining guest rooms and ensuring all related issues are resolved efficiently to support the hotel's operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand guestroom-related issues, gather necessary equipment, and efficiently assess and resolve problems.
• Perform maintenance tasks within rooms, including electrical, furniture, and basic repair jobs.
• Handle guest and team inquiries professionally and resolve room care complaints promptly.
• Complete assigned work orders, conduct room inspections, and document all tasks performed accurately.
• Select the correct tools and parts from stores and maintain precise usage logs.
• Report observed room damages to supervisors and recommend appropriate solutions.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant technical or maintenance role. The position requires practical skills in basic electrical, furniture, and general repair work, along with the ability to diagnose and fix common room-related issues.

Work Environment and Location

This role is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, at the Jumeirah Jabal Omar property. The position is full-time, involving direct interaction with hotel guests and team members in a dynamic hospitality environment.
