Senior Architect

About the Role

Cornerstone Global Partners (CGP Group) is seeking a Senior Architect to manage the complete project lifecycle, from initial concept design through to Issued for Construction (IFC) documentation and on-site supervision. This full-time role is based in Makkah and requires a hands-on approach, blending design leadership with technical delivery, particularly within hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design processes from concept development through Design Development, Construction Documentation, and IFC issuance.
• Provide construction supervision for active sites, including technical and drawing reviews, approvals, and quality control.
• Review and approve material specifications, coordinating mock-up approvals as required.
• Manage project delivery timelines and facilitate coordination across design and construction teams.
• Demonstrate hands-on drawing and detailing capabilities; this role is not purely managerial or review-focused.
• Support new project pursuits and proposals as needed.
• Liaise directly with the Head of Technical and CDO on technical direction and project strategy.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in architecture.
• Demonstrated experience owning the full project lifecycle from concept to construction supervision.
• Strong exposure to hospitality projects is required.
• Ability to move fluidly between design leadership and technical delivery.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position located in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves both office-based design work and on-site construction supervision.
