The Role of Senior Sales Engineer
CDHorizon Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on developing and expanding the earthmoving and construction equipment rental business. The role is critical for driving sales growth by identifying new opportunities, cultivating strong customer relationships, and promoting rental solutions to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the rental business for earthmoving and construction equipment.
- Identify new business opportunities to meet assigned sales targets.
- Promote equipment rental solutions to contractors and project clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts.
- Conduct customer visits to identify new project opportunities.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms with customers.
- Support rental contract preparation and ensure timely order execution.
- Monitor market trends and analyze competitor business activities to support expansion strategies.
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure equipment availability for rental.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure timely collection of rental payments.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and customer activity reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and perform all assigned duties.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in sales, with a focus on developing customer relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Demonstrated understanding of earthmoving equipment and construction projects.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong negotiation, communication, and business development skills.
- Ability to identify market opportunities and customer requirements effectively.
- Strong coordination, reporting, and customer management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with internal teams.
