About the Role

the Grandeur is seeking a dedicated Site Accountant to join our team in Makkah. This full-time role is essential for managing all accounting and financial activities at an assigned food and beverage operation, ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Role Purpose and Context

The Site Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, implementing effective inventory management for food and beverage items, and ensuring robust cost control. This position plays a crucial role in managing inventory, monitoring food costs, handling petty cash, processing supplier documentation, and preparing comprehensive financial reports, all while adhering to company policies, food safety standards, and internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily accounting records and financial transactions for the assigned site.
• Monitor and control inventory movements of food, beverage, packaging, and non-food items, including receiving, issuing, transfers, and stock reconciliation.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and investigate stock variances.
• Monitor food and beverage costs and support cost control initiatives to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
• Manage petty cash, prepare reconciliations, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Verify supplier invoices against Purchase Orders (POs), Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and approved deliveries.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial, inventory, and cost reports.
• Monitor site operating expenses and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
• Ensure all accounting records are accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required financial and inventory documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, inventory procedures, and internal controls.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant accounting or financial role.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.

Collaboration and Environment

The Site Accountant will work closely with various departments, including Procurement, Warehouse, Operations, Production, and the Head Office Finance teams. This role requires strong coordination skills and a collaborative approach to ensure seamless financial operations within the food and beverage sector in Makkah.
