General Accountant – Restaurants and Cafes Sector

We are looking for a General Accountant with practical experience in the Restaurants and Cafes sector, who has strong knowledge in Cost Control, Inventory Management, Financial Reporting, and managing daily accounting operations using ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Recording and reviewing daily accounting entries.
  

• Preparing monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
  

• Following up on Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP & AR).
  

• Performing bank reconciliations and account matching.
  

• Preparing and analyzing product costs and recipes (Recipe Costing).
  

• Monitoring raw material costs and waste, and analyzing variances.
  

• Following up on inventory and conducting periodic counts and necessary adjustments.
  

• Preparing financial and operational reports to support decision-making.
  

• Working on ERP systems and extracting financial and operational reports.
  

• Coordinating with procurement, warehouse, and operations departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  

• Contributing to the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  

  Qualifications and Skills
  

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
    

  • Practical experience in accounting for restaurants, cafes, or the Food & Beverage sector.
    

  • Strong knowledge in Cost Control and Recipe Costing.
    

  • Experience in inventory management and counting.
    

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably with experience on Odoo.
    

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
    

  • High analytical and organizational skills.

Conditions

• Transferable residency within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  

• Previous experience on Odoo ERP system is preferred.
