Role Overview

Hilton is seeking a Sous Chef to join its full-time culinary team in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to leading daily kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of memorable guest experiences through high-quality culinary offerings. The position requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience in a culinary leadership capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead culinary team operations, providing hands-on guidance and coaching to kitchen staff, with a focus on either Outlets or Banquets.
  • Oversee daily kitchen production and service, including creating and monitoring production lists, completing line checks, and expediting service periods.
  • Develop and implement seasonal menus, promotional features, and daily specials to enhance menu offerings.
  • Foster strong, positive relationships between Front of House and Back of House teams to ensure seamless operational flow.
  • Provide administrative support for kitchen functions, including inventory management, ordering, and staff scheduling.
  • Uphold compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring high standards for guest and team member wellbeing.
