About the Stewarding Shift Leader Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join their team as a Stewarding Shift Leader in Makkah. This full-time position involves assisting in the organization and direction of a team focused on developing top-quality food and beverage products, delivered with prompt, accurate, and personalized service. The role requires a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all food processing facilities and operating equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Stewarding Shift Leader, your primary responsibility is to ensure exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards. This includes:

  • Supervising the daily duties of all stewarding department employees.
  • Monitoring the daily consumption of stewarding chemicals.
  • Overseeing sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, and the quality of products and services.
  • Ensuring all stewarding employees adhere to safety instructions during machinery cleaning.
  • Conducting regular checks to confirm proper cleaning of service and kitchen operating equipment.
  • Controlling and documenting all outgoing equipment and verifying its proper return.
  • Participating in monthly and annual inventory counts and preparing payroll-related documents for submission.
  • Attending all regular Food & Beverage department meetings and leading at least one monthly meeting with Stewarding employees to foster open communication.
  • Ensuring emergency exits are maintained in a clean condition, free of obstacles, and easily openable from the inside.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following:

  • A diploma or degree in hospitality is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar stewarding role is required.
  • Experience level between 2-5 years is expected.
