About the Opportunity

Rotana Jabal Omar Makkah is seeking a dedicated Stewarding Shift Leader to join our team in Makkah. This full-time role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our food processing facilities and for the operational equipment.

Role Overview

As a Stewarding Shift Leader, you will play a crucial part in organizing and directing a team of Food & Beverage professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all food processing areas and operating equipment meet stringent cleanliness and hygiene standards, contributing to the overall quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily duties of all stewarding department employees.
• Monitor and control the daily consumption of all stewarding chemicals.
• Oversee sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, and the quality level of products and services.
• Ensure all stewarding employees adhere to safety instructions while cleaning machinery.
• Conduct regular checks to verify that service and kitchen operating equipment is properly cleaned.
• Control and document all outgoing equipment, ensuring proper receiving upon return.
• Participate in monthly and annual inventory processes and prepare payroll-related documents for submission to the Department Head.
• Attend all regular Food & Beverage department meetings and conduct at least one monthly meeting with Stewarding employees to foster open communication.
• Assure that emergency exits are consistently clean, free of obstacles, and easily operable from the inside.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. We are looking for dynamic and self-motivated individuals who are committed to maintaining high operational standards within a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Team Collaboration and Communication

This role requires active participation in departmental meetings and the ability to lead and communicate effectively with the stewarding team. The successful candidate will ensure a smooth flow of information and uphold collaborative working practices.
