Finishing Technician (فني تشطيبات)

General Job Objective:

To carry out all internal and external finishing works on-site by himself or by directing the assisting labor and ensuring the application of the required quality standards, in compliance with the site engineer's directives and the approved plans.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Field Execution: Carrying out the basic finishing works (such as: flooring installation, painting works, gypsum board installations, defect repair, and facade works) according to his specialization.

  • Commitment to Engineering Instructions: Executing the works accurately based on the directives of the Finishing Engineer or Site Supervisor and ensuring that the work meets the requirements.

  • Preparation and Inspection of Materials: Inspecting the materials supplied to the site before use (ensuring the safety of tiles, paint mixtures, and adhesive materials) and informing the engineer of any damaged materials.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Caring for the tools and machines used in the finishing works and maintaining them periodically to ensure work efficiency and avoid waste.

  • Delivery of Works: Preparing the completed work items and cleaning them to be ready for inspection and receipt by the site engineer.

  • Applying Safety Standards: Full commitment to safety and occupational health tools on-site (helmet, safety shoes, belts when working at heights).

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Educational Level: Technical diploma (vocational or industrial institute) in construction/building, or long and proven practical experience in the market.

  • Practical Experience: Experience of no less than [specify the number of years, for example: 3-5 years] in finishing works for residential or commercial projects.

  • Technical and Professional Skills:

    • High manual skill and extreme precision in finishing touches.

    • Ability to understand simple executive plans and apply measurements accurately.

    • Complete knowledge of material mixing ratios and modern installation methods to avoid waste or future defects.

  • Personal Skills:

    • Ability to work under pressure and commit to delivery deadlines.

    • Flexibility and high responsiveness to the supervisor engineer's notes and modifications.

    • Good teamwork skills and dealing with other workers on-site.

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate projects for 3 or more product service lines (PSLs) in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Champion Halliburton and the Customer's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, expectations, and guidelines.
  • Verify that equipment received at the well site conforms to documented specifications and requirements.
  • Ensure all third-party rental/purchase equipment has current inspection and testing documentation.
  • Lead internal pre-project execution exercises (*, Drilling Well On Paper / Completing Well On Paper) and post-project review/close-out meetings.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled project safety meetings and Business/Operations Performance Reviews.
  • Conduct performance reviews in alignment with established PSL and Project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain detailed records of Daily Operations Reports in OpenWells, focusing on productive times and NPT classification.
  • Ensure the latest versions of project procedures and expectations are maintained and communicated to all Halliburton personnel.
  • Evaluate PSL operational performance and the applicability of technology offerings.
  • Manage the project Performance Optimization Plan.
  • Resolve all cross-PSL issues with the customer prior to final invoicing and report processing.
  • Document lessons learned and communicate them to the District and Project Leadership Team.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, professionalism, and discretion, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals within the organization.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and client interface capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in a suitable STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of full-time oil and gas experience.
