About the Role

Petrogen is seeking a Senior Accountant, AP & Payments, to lead the Accounts Payable and Payments team within the Financial Department. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires an individual with strong accounting expertise and supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Accounts Payable team and review daily operations.
• Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and goods receipts.
• Reconcile supplier statements and monitor the Accounts Payable aging report.
• Schedule payments in alignment with cash flow, and track bank transfers and electronic payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations related to payments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role within Accounts Payable and Payments.
• Working knowledge of Value Added Tax (VAT) in Saudi Arabia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail, fuel stations, commercial franchising, or multi-branch companies.
• Proficiency in Odoo or a similar ERP system.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP).
• Knowledge of IFRS 16 for lease contracts.

Work Environment

This role is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
