Data Services Saudi Arabia Limited One Person Company - H12 is offering a Physical Security Specialist Intern - 2027 Internship position in Riyadh. This internship is designed as a potential pathway to full-time employment, with strong-performing interns considered for a full-time Security Specialist position based on available roles and business needs. The role involves ensuring the physical security of data center facilities and driving operational security excellence.

Role Responsibilities

As a Security Specialist Intern, you will engage directly with the people, systems, and processes that secure Amazon's critical infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating with vendors for new security construction, repairs, daily security operations, patrols, and planning.
• Analyzing security metrics and data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Suggesting enhancements for electronic surveillance systems and access controls.
• Assisting in developing and delivering guidance to data center occupants on reducing false alarms.
• Writing reports and creating presentations for management on the status of physical security operations.
• Supporting the planning and coordination of security-related projects.
• Assisting with incident documentation and follow-up processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Currently in the last year of a Technical/Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Security Management, Criminology, or a related field.
• Must be graduated by the end of the internship.
• Experience required: 0-1 years.

Internship Structure and Environment

This is a full-time internship, requiring 40 hours per week for 12 consecutive weeks. The position requires daily on-site reporting, typically Sunday through Thursday. The role is based at a data center facility in a remote location without public transportation access. A valid driving license and personal transportation are required for daily commute to the site.

About the Team

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This includes supporting AWS data centers and all associated equipment to ensure continuous customer access. The team is diverse, comprising engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers, collaborating to maintain high standards for safety and security while providing scalable capacity.
