About the Role

Cisco Saudi Arabia is seeking a full-time Account Executive - Splunk to join its team in Riyadh. This role focuses on driving sales and expanding customer value within the Public Sector market in Saudi Arabia for Splunk's unified security and observability platform.

Role Context and Team Overview

Splunk, a Cisco company, provides an end-to-end full-stack platform designed for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, enabling organizations to build a more resilient digital world. The Account Executive will join Splunk’s regional sales team, which is dedicated to the Saudi Arabia Public Sector market. This team supports large organizations in adopting enterprise data management software solutions for IT systems, infrastructure, application management, security, and analytics needs. The role involves close collaboration with sales engineering, internal Splunk teams, partner services, alliances, and colleagues across various regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive license sales, support, and service revenue across Public Sector accounts in Saudi Arabia.
• Develop account plans and manage opportunities to enhance account penetration and customer value.
• Negotiate pricing and business terms with large enterprises by demonstrating value and return on investment.
• Collaborate with partners, alliances, sales engineering, and internal teams to maximize deal effectiveness and expand deal size.
• Provide timely market and customer insights to product management, marketing, and other corporate functions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise software sales experience with large Public Sector accounts in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience selling software in areas such as IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, and/or analytics.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems, including Salesforce.
• Demonstrated track record of success with prospects and customers within a defined territory.
• Experience applying a structured sales methodology and sales process.
