Accountant

About the Role

Jubaili Bros is seeking a Full-time Accountant to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The Accountant will be responsible for a range of daily accounting operations and will support various financial reporting and audit activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including customer collections and supplier reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations, support payment processing, and assist in cash flow monitoring and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi VAT regulations, ZATCA requirements, and e-invoicing regulations.
• Support monthly and annual closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Assist with inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, inventory valuation, and cost allocation.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, trial balances, and other financial reports.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing and maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments, including Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and HR, to ensure accurate recording and processing of financial transactions.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2 to 5 years of experience in an accounting role. This experience should include practical application of accounting principles and familiarity with financial regulations.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to manage daily accounting operations and collaborate with internal departments.
