About Naseej and the Role

Naseej is a leading technology company with almost 36 years of experience in E-Learning, Edu-Tech, and Digital Transformation across the MENA region. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The Accountant will be crucial for maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, and providing reliable financial reporting and analysis. This position supports business decisions within the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Handle day-to-day accounting activities using ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Operations).
• Manage project-based accounting, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and budget monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Perform financial analysis to support business strategies and decision-making.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor financial performance and variances, escalating findings when required.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and project teams to ensure financial alignment with business objectives.

Required Experience and Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Operations).
• Strong exposure to project-based accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with IFRS standards.
• A detail-oriented approach to financial tasks.

Preferred Background

Experience working in technology, digital transformation, project-based companies, and/or audit firms is preferred for this role.
