About the Role

Brkz is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant (AP) to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strict adherence to financial policies, and effective collaboration with both internal teams and external vendors to maintain seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate coding and posting.
• Confirm invoices align with purchase orders, contracts, and company policies.
• Manage a high volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy.
• Prepare and process vendor payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments, ensuring timely execution according to agreed terms.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure proper allocation of payments.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies as needed.
• Prepare monthly AP aging reports and assist with cash flow forecasting.
• Support month-end closing processes, including account reconciliations.

Compliance and Process Improvement

• Ensure all Accounts Payable activities comply with internal policies, IFRS standards, and audit requirements.
• Maintain and enforce internal controls to minimize errors and prevent fraud.
• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance AP efficiency.
• Support the automation of AP workflows and integration with financial systems.

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate closely with procurement, operations, and other internal teams to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve queries and maintain positive business relationships.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in an Accounts Payable role, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial operations and accounting principles.
