About Qiddiya and the Senior Specialist Accounts Payable Role

Qiddiya is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Specialist Accounts Payable to join its finance department. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is crucial for maintaining efficient accounts payable operations and supporting the company's financial health. The Senior Specialist will lead accounts payable processes, ensuring all invoices and payments are processed accurately and timely, while fostering strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Role Overview and Contribution

As a Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable activities, auditing processes, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. Your leadership and expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of financial operations within Qiddiya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Manage communications with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
  • Maintain accurate vendor information and records within the accounting system.
  • Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions to ensure internal controls are followed.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Prepare reports and analyze accounts payable data to identify trends and opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Stay updated with best practices and regulatory requirements relevant to accounts payable management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in accounts payable, finance, or related roles.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, internal controls, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
