Larsen & Toubro is seeking an Accounts Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for a professional with significant experience in accounting supervision.

Role Overview

The Accounts Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring compliance with financial policies and standards. This role involves supervising various accounting activities, preparing financial reports, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily accounting activities, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Review and verify invoices, payment requests, expense claims, and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and review bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely settlements and collections.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Prepare financial reports, Management Information System (MIS) reports, and management summaries.
  • Ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with procurement, HR, payroll, commercial, and project teams regarding financial transactions.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and cost-control activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi VAT, ZATCA requirements, and applicable accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors and provide required documents and schedules.
  • Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure accurate filing of financial records.
  • Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in an accounting role, with demonstrated supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of Saudi VAT and ZATCA requirements.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires on-site presence to manage daily accounting operations and team supervision.
