About the Role

ACOUSTIEG, a Saudi Arabian company specializing in acoustic treatment and sound isolation since 2018, is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This role contributes to shaping industries and communities by delivering innovative acoustic solutions. You will work in a professional environment, addressing critical acoustic challenges across diverse sectors including healthcare, education, residential, and commercial projects.

The Acoustic Engineer will support the design, implementation, and testing of acoustic solutions within commercial and architectural projects. This position requires close coordination with project and technical teams to ensure the successful integration of acoustic treatments and sound isolation systems. This is an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and support acoustic insulation and treatment systems for architectural projects.
  • Work with common acoustic materials such as mineral wool, MLV, gypsum systems, and acoustic panels.
  • Assist in providing acoustic design recommendations and selecting suitable acoustic products.
  • Support coordination with architects, consultants, and MEP teams to effectively integrate acoustic solutions into project designs.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, reports, and project records.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Acoustical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in architectural or environmental acoustics.
  • Basic knowledge of key acoustic standards, including STC (Sound Transmission Class), NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient), and RT60 (Reverberation Time).
  • Previous experience in Fit-Out or commercial projects is preferred.
  • A portfolio or sample acoustic reports is considered a valuable asset.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in architectural and environmental acoustics.
  • Understanding of acoustic standards (STC, NRC, RT60).
  • Familiarity with acoustic software and measurement tools is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with acoustic insulation and acoustic treatment systems.
  • Knowledge of acoustic materials including mineral wool, MLV, gypsum systems, and acoustic panels.
  • Ability to contribute to acoustic design recommendations.
