About the AI Tech Architect Role

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Saudi is seeking an AI Tech Architect to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves addressing core IT challenges for leading global companies by designing and building AI tech strategies, AI solutions, and next-generation platform architectures. The role operates at the intersection of strategy and technology delivery, supporting organizations in executing their ambitions and gaining a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

The AI Tech Architect will be responsible for shaping the digital transformation of globally leading companies. This includes evaluating clients' digital capabilities, performing feasibility studies, and managing small, agile development teams within strategic IT implementation programs. Establishing modern practices such as DevOps and CI/CD is also a key duty. The role requires technical implementation of critical digital requirements, including cyber resilience, and the analysis, development, and optimization of cutting-edge, customized IT architectures. A comprehensive understanding of legacy IT, enterprise solutions, and current market developments like cloud computing, microservices, and blockchain is essential.

Core Duties and Tasks

• Shaping the digital transformation of globally leading companies.
• Evaluating clients' digital capabilities and performing feasibility studies.
• Managing small, agile development teams in strategic IT implementation programs.
• Establishing modern practices like DevOps and CI/CD.
• Ensuring the technical implementation of crucial digital requirements, such as cyber resilience.
• Analyzing, developing, and optimizing cutting-edge, customized IT architectures.
• Applying understanding of legacy IT, enterprise solutions, and current market developments (*, cloud computing, microservices, blockchain).

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, or a related discipline. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience in IT consulting or software development. A strong understanding of modern technologies, including machine learning, cyber resilience, DevOps, agile methods, AI, and robotics, is necessary. Broad technical expertise and a keen interest in technology trends are expected. Experience with hyperscalers is preferred, with additional certifications from AWS, Azure, or GCP being advantageous.
