About the Role

SAP is seeking an AI Industry Architect to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to designing and delivering industry-specific AI solutions that address significant business challenges for SAP's key customers. The position will influence the adoption, scaling, and integration of Artificial Intelligence within SAP's standard AI portfolio, contributing to the company's AI strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end AI solutions that integrate industry processes with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP Business AI capabilities.
• Assist customers in defining actionable AI use cases that address complex industry challenges and deliver measurable business impact.
• Drive digital transformation by ensuring solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and aligned with long-term business value.
• Engage with customers in discovery sessions to identify priorities, design solutions, and guide their adoption into live business processes.
• Lead agile delivery cycles, from proof of concept to production, to achieve tangible outcomes.
• Act as a liaison between customers and SAP's global Product and Engineering teams, providing customer insights for roadmap development.
• Develop reusable accelerators, reference architectures, and best practices to broaden solution impact.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Solid understanding of data and AI/ML concepts, including data modeling, APIs, and common AI patterns like forecasting, classification, and intelligent assistants.
• Strong end-to-end understanding of industry processes within key sectors such as Oil & Gas, Public Sector, Manufacturing, Utilities, Retail, or related domains.
• Knowledge of industry markets, their evolution, and the relevant SAP industry portfolio.
• Confidence in customer-facing and partner-facing interactions, including conducting discovery workshops, delivering demos, and explaining technical trade-offs in business terms.
• Strong software engineering foundation with hands-on experience in SAP BTP, integrations, and at least one major SAP domain.
• Experience in designing and prototyping solutions using modern tools and rapid-iteration approaches.
• Comfort operating in a forward-deployed, high-ownership role, managing ambiguity and driving work to completion.
• Cultural awareness and experience collaborating across geographies and nationalities.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.

Work Environment and Additional Information

This is a full-time, regular position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Expected travel for this role is between 0-10%. Due to local legal mandates related to Saudization, only Saudi nationals will be considered for this external vacancy.
