About the Role
Riyad Bank is seeking an experienced and analytical professional to join as an Analysis & Support Lead. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focuses on managing and optimizing the Affluent Banking segment. The role involves overseeing sales target setting, performance tracking, variance analysis, and managing support activities to ensure the growth and success of Affluent Banking services across all regions.
This position requires a strategic thinker with a solid understanding of banking operations and a proven ability to drive performance through data-driven insights and effective support. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to standards, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the strategic objectives of the Affluent Banking division.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the sales target setting process for the Affluent Banking segment across all regions, aligning with strategic goals.
- Continuously track the performance of the Affluent Banking team and individual officers, monitoring key performance indicators.
- Perform detailed variance analysis on performance data and recommend corrective measures to ensure targets are met and adjusted based on market changes.
- Identify underperforming staff and implement action plans to enhance their performance and productivity.
- Manage and monitor the performance of Affluent Banking campaigns, ensuring their effectiveness and contribution to business objectives.
- Oversee and monitor the operational model for Affluent Banking centers and lounges, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Conduct research, monitoring, and analysis of market trends, customer needs, and behaviors to inform target setting and strategic decisions.
- Manage Net Promoter Score (NPS) initiatives and Mystery Shopper activities to gauge customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Manage the portfolio and prospectus management processes for the Affluent Banking segment.
- Track the performance effectiveness of various campaigns and initiatives.
- Organize and supervise daily operations of Affluent Banking centers/lounges to ensure efficient and procedurally compliant execution of tasks.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices, incorporating international best practices to enhance business processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
- Coordinate with Retail Finance, Sales, and Performance Management departments for the quarterly target setting exercise and scorecard distribution for the Affluent Banking segment.
- Prepare departmental reports accurately and in a timely manner to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards.
- Represent the function and actively contribute in various internal and external committees and meetings as required, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of relevant matters.
- Ensure all staff have clear objectives, receive regular performance feedback, undergo formal annual appraisals, and have individual development plans, with an emphasis on developing talented Saudi national staff.
- Facilitate the employment, training, and development of Saudi nationals within the organization.
- Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, with a specialization preferably in MIS, Analysis & Statistics, Economics, or Accounting.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the banking sector.
- At least 5 years of experience in positions with progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
- Good command of the English language.
