About the Role

Honeywell (KSA) is seeking an Application/Sys Sales Engineer I to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are prepared to support technical requests from customers and contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. The role involves shaping customer experience strategies and driving initiatives that support business growth.

Role Purpose and Contribution

As an Application/Sys Sales Engineer I, you will play a key role in optimizing customer experience programs and driving business growth. This position aims to improve customer satisfaction, contribute to revenue increase, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and foster a customer-centric culture within the organization, supporting its long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret client requirements, building codes, and fire safety standards to develop compliant and cost-effective Fire, Security, or BMS solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Prepare detailed system architecture and bill of materials for Fire, Security, or BMS systems, including complimentary systems.
• Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and client requirements.
• Prepare technical proposals for bids and tenders.
• Understand the competitive landscape and local industry practices for assigned systems and regions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), presentations, and technical consultations.
• Obtain vendor quotations and evaluate technical and commercial compliance.
• Provide engineering input to project managers and installation teams during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Contribute to product enhancements and new product developments to improve specifications and quality.
• Conduct technical reviews, design risk assessments, and site visits to resolve technical queries and verify installation quality.
• Develop and implement customer-centric programs to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer-focused initiatives aligned with business goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or a related field).
• 0-1 years of professional experience in a relevant field.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design/drafting tools.
• Strong knowledge or familiarity with international standards (NFPA, FM, UL, EN, IEC, ATEX – as applicable).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
